I use the Genesis framework for virtually all my websites and am very happy with it. BUT, the Simple Sidebars plugin developed a catastrophic error which left a website with an error that starts with “Warning: Illegal string offset ‘name’ ” and leaves your site unworkable. You can’t even log in.
Thanks to Nick Ciske for providing the fix. Replace the plugin.php file in the plugin’s directory, using FTP.
